I am sooooo bad DX but I'm busy with school! I haven't done another 254 Themes piece in a month! I'm never going to keep up a good schedule aaaghh... but I started a job that's 4 hours a night mon-fri for the rest of the school semester. That's really cut down on my time, and being busy with school I hardly feel inspired. T_T I'm sorry.
But.. I quickly did this picture on a burst of drawing desire so I wanted to share it with you all.
I had struggled to draw Blackjack's face right because he is very much a Native American in appearance. Finally I tracked down an image of the painting that inspired his face in my mind and so I was able to use it as a reference and I had much more success than before.
Even so his nose and eyes are not right, but I'm satisfied for now.
I played BJ once before in a very short stint of an RP with a friend. And recently I've used him more extensively in another Rp... well kinda... I... I sometimes forget that I have him in my posts! DX I'm sorreeeeeee!!
BJ: *shrugs, not overly concerned by such a trivial matter.*
Ah... yeah, he's not easily ruffled. Always smiling with a 'I know more than you about the situation' kinda grin. He is very polite and helpful. But can be ruthless if he decides that such force is needed. And he's a bit of a 'Jack of all trades' with a crazy fast learning curve.
That's thanks to his better than photographic memory. Long story short he has a cyberbrain. The only part of him that isn't squish is his braincase, the nerves to his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and some down into his spine. So he can actually analyze the signals his senses give him and calculate in his head things that people would not normally be able to do. he can also hack wireless systems (but puts himself at risk as well when he opens up that program.)
When he's bored BJ likes to play chess against himself in his head. Sometimes Solitaire too.
Drawn on Tegaki, and I don't think this is high enough quality to qualify for one of my 254 themes peices.
Yeah. He can consciously shut down reflexes like gagging or sneezing while upping his reaction time and being more precise in his movements.

Haha XD You'll get to it eventually. I will probably kick it up when I'm back home during my 7 week break between semesters.

Stick a cowboy hat on him and figure out his outfit. I need to stop making characters who wear hats, I never ever do hats well.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
